3d Lips Drawing Step by Step

Introduction: Drawing a Sphere 3D

Starting from your 'crescent moon' shade from the shadowed area all the way up, while releasing pressure on the pencil as you go, so that it will create a dark to light tone. Now, to make sure that the light source will not be affected by the shading, draw a curve very lightly with your color pencil, showing that this is the lightest part

Supplies

Color pencil ( 1 of your preference, I'm using blue.)
Eraser
Pencil. (mechanical or normal, it doesn't matter)
Circle template
Paper

Step 1: Still Life Drawing With Color Pencils, How to Draw a Sphere

Hi! This is my first instructable, and I'm a bit if an art diva, so I decided to do an instructable on still life drawing with color pencils. This one is on drawing a sphere so it looks 3D. I am going to use color pencil as it is less smudgy and messy compared to pencil. ♪(๑ᴖ◡ᴖ๑)♪

Step 2: Drawing the Layout

You want to take your circle template and place it flat on the paper. You can use anything as your template, or, if you can draw a circle freehand, feel free to do so :) I am using a circular container. Take your color pencil and trace a light circle on the paper, using your template.

Step 3: Finding the Light and Shadows

Once you are done drawing the circle, draw an arrow using your pencil, indicating where the light is shining from. This way, you will know where to place your light and shadow. Starting from the part of the sphere furthest from your arrow, draw a 'crescent moon' shape indicating the area that will be shadowed. Using your color pencil, apply the most pressure to shade this 'crescent moon' area. It will be the darkest part of the sphere

Step 4: Fill the Sphere Up

Continue shading, taking care to apply very little pressure on your color pencil when shading the part that has been sectioned off (the part of the sphere closest ot the arrow) make sure to maintain the gradient effect and shade in crescent moon like strokes. This way, your sphere will start to take on a 3D effect.

Step 5: Finishing the Sphere

Finally, go over the sphere with a final light shade of your color pencil. This can even out the light and shadows effect. Go over the sphere with your eraser lightly, taking care not to erase anything. This will smoothen out the sphere and, make it more 3D. (by the way you can erase the arrow)

Step 6: Final Touch, Adding a Shadow

Personally, I'm not that great at doing a shadow, but this is what I do
I draw a elliptical shape on the paper below the base of the sphere
I shade it roughly using my color pencil
I go over it with my eraser

Step 7: Done!

Finally done! Don't worry if you don't get it on your first try, keep practicing and experimenting with different shades and hues! I hope I did well for my first instructable! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
